YahooPOPs!

This utilities could be useful for those who got a (non EU) Yahoo! Mail [1].

Since april 2002, there are separate ways to deal POP3 with Yahoo! on American and on European continents.

Thus with YahooPOPs! you will able to get, read and write your mails with Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Mozilla, Calypso... as if you chose to emigrate to Paris (France) and use Yahoo! France... without talking French!

Thus you will:

  1. save connection time and money,
  2. help Yahoo! to set a world wide coherent strategy [2],
  3. save internet bandwidth,
  4. what else? yes, it seems to be perfectly legal [3].

[1] Well, by example Yahoo! Mail France allows free POP3 connections, this is not the case on American continent, where POP3 isn’t freely available.
